The Origin of name of this Society is belongs to a small village of Punjab named Sahungra near Saroya town in district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar previously known as Nawanshahr.

Sahungra Welfare Society works on social issues.We believe that it needs only positive attitude,community support and Knowledge for any social development.The role and participation of Volunteers is central to the work of organisation and has shaped us into a truly development - centred organisation.

Sahungra Welfare Society strive for water resource management and conservation, sanitation, women empowerment, skill enhancement, public amenities and child education.

All the members belong to us are Young, Talented, highly Qualified and Enthusiastic consists strong Determination to involve them in process of social development in any field.

The Sahungra Welfare Society has no any sources of income other than Donations. As a non-profit organisation we are reliant on the continued support of like-minded, citizens, corporates, institutions and school.
